ABOUT ME
Logan Stewart is a dedicated Senior Theatre major at Oakland University whose artistic journey is defined by her passion for performance, music, and technical production. Throughout her time at Oakland, Logan has immersed herself in a wide range of theatrical experiences that have helped shape her into a versatile and well-rounded theatre artist. Initially drawn to the stage through her love of storytelling and music, she has also discovered a strong interest in music production and technology, further expanding her creative skill set. During her time at Oakland, Logan has further gained knowledge in Music Technology, enhancing her understanding of sound design, audio production, and developing proficiency in digital audio workstations (DAWs).
As a trained mezzo-soprano, Logan has developed a deep understanding of vocal performance and musical interpretation. She recently showcased her talent in Oakland University’s production of The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, where she demonstrated not only her vocal abilities but also her skill in character development and ensemble work. Her background in music technology has allowed her to explore the technical aspects of sound, giving her a unique perspective that bridges performance and production.
Beyond her performance work, Logan has gained extensive experience in stage management, an area in which she has proven herself to be a strong leader and collaborator. She served as stage manager for the touring show A Year With Frog at Oakland University, ensuring the production ran smoothly from rehearsals to final performances. She also worked as assistant stage manager for Frozen at The Encore Musical Theatre Company, where she strengthened her organizational skills and learned to manage large-scale professional productions.
Logan is passionate about continuing to grow as an artist, both on stage and behind the scenes. With her diverse skill set in performance, music technology, and stage management, she is excited to pursue new opportunities that allow her to merge her artistic and technical interests in meaningful and innovative ways.
